BOOMING HECK.
We've got a boom and we're not afraid to use it - yes I got motion sickness editing this. It needs toning down but you get the idea for the possibilities of filming lead rock climbing with this snazzy piece of kit. The climb is 'Missing' E7 7a, a wee gem of a route found just above Blea Tarn in the Langdales . The climber is Dave Birkett, yes that's his lucky T-shirt, Dave says the route kept him busy for a few evenings - its still unrepeated. Special thanks to Dave Reeves who worked through the night to build the 6m boom for us. We'll have some snaps of it soon as its quite a thing.
